WAALRE — February 5, 2002 — Qualcomm Incorporated (Nasdaq: QCOM), the leader in mobile communications for the transportation industry, today announced that Vos Logistics, a leading European truckload carrier based in the Netherlands, has signed a three-year agreement to transfer from its existing supplier to Qualcomm Wireless Business Solutions Europe, b.v., a wholly owned subsidiary of Qualcomm. Under the terms of the agreement, QWBS Europe will provide robust, reliable satellite communications services to Vos Logistics’ nearly 2000 truckload fleet over the EutelTRACS™ network. EutelTRACS is the service name in Europe for Qualcomm’s OmniTRACS® satellite-based mobile communications system, which uses Eutelsat S.A. satellite and network services. The combination of EutelTRACS’ satellite communication service and Vos Logistics’ LOVOS information system, enables Vos to offer their customers real-time track and trace capability.
